Hello, World!

To whomever may find this... hi :p
This is my space to express myself in several ways. I rarely give myself the opportunity to get my thoughts out freely, so this is my best attempt at doing so. As the name suggests, I will be sharing my thoughts on the things I feel most passionate about (technology, music, literature, etc.). At the moment, I'm struggling to decide if I'm excited or anxious about this. In the corniest way possible: I'll just have to find out.
I'm technically a sophomore in college, but I've been attending for four years now. This is because I'm fortunate enough to take as many classes as I feel comfortable taking (typically two or three) each semester. I began with the intention of pursuing an A.A., but that changed about two years ago, when I developed a sudden interest in Cybersecurity. I'm now after an A.S. in Cybersecurity Operations, and am anticipating graduation in the Spring. In the past, I've been embarassed to admit that I never excelled academically. I took greater interest in... my interests (music, animation, bushcraft survival, etc.). I wasn't gifted with a strong desire to achieve academic success, but rather the determination to get better at whatever I was truly interested in. This is why when I finally decided to change my major to cyber, my desire to get my work done went up exponentially.
In middle school, I made friends with a peer in my computer class. They showed me the basics of what I now know as: HTML5! It was like magic to me. Learning that you can achieve the basics with as little as a workstation and notepad.exe filled me with excitement and curiosity. This sparked a flame in me that would then be hidden for about seven years. I'm now dedicated to learning as much as I can about whatever I find interest in. At the moment, it's fingerstyle picking on my acoustic guitar, internet programming (I'm taking an HTML class this semester), and KPOP!
I'm very excited to see where this blog will take me mentally. I hope that it's only up from where I've been! Stay safe and healthy! Goodbye!
